Living it Up Married Style

After landing in Munich, Germany we were really tired. 12 hours of traveling is no joke! And once we were in Munich our trip was far from over. Justin and I had to continue on to Grafenwoehr, which was no easy feat. We took a taxi to the train station, followed by several hours of waiting for trains that were delayed. Train travel on Sundays in Germany is not always a cake walk. Everything is typically closed on Sundays, so I guess that transfers over to train workers as well?

Needless to say, we eventually made it to what we now call "home". None of our things are here yet, but we do have a nice (fairly empty) place. I absolutely love the balcony. We have a clock tower just outside our balcony that chimes every 15 minutes. We are also about a 5 minute walk to the Army base, so I enjoy making that trek to go workout. Our town is fun to walk through as well. It takes about 10 minutes to walk the whole town.

I did pass my German driving test, so I can now legally drive in Germany. I sometimes prefer the walk though. It's nice to be immersed in a new culture. Thus marks the beginning our our European adventures!
